 Sing To Jehovah!

What is mortal man that you keep him in mind,
And the son of earthling man that you take care of him?
Small cattle and oxen, all of them,
And also the beasts of the open field,
The birds of heaven and the fish of the sea,
Anything passing through the paths of the seas.
O Jehovah our Lord, how majestic your name is in all the earth!
You yourself have come to know my sitting down and my rising up.
You have considered my thought from far off.
My journeying and my lying outstretched you have measured off,
And you have become familiar even with all my ways.
For there is not a word on my tongue,
But, look! O Jehovah, you already know it all.
Behind and before, you have besieged me;
And you place your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me.
It is so high up that I cannot attain to it.
Where can I go from your spirit,
And where can I run away from your face?
If I should ascend to heaven, there you would be;
 And if I should spread out my couch in Sheol, look! you would be there.
Were I to take the wings of the dawn,
That I might reside in the most remote sea,
There, also, your own hand would lead me
And your right hand would lay hold of me.

 Be zealous for true worship

Making Known the Kingdom Truth (Acts 20:20, 21)

There was a time we did not know
The way a Christian ought to go.
Then Jehovah sent the light,
His Kingdom truth so clear and bright.
Our Father’s will we then could see
To serve the grand Theocracy,
To declare Jehovah’s fame,
And help to glorify his holy name.
We witness now to all we meet,
From door to door and on the street.
We take the time to help them see;
We teach the truth that sets men free.
And as we strive in ev’ry land
Jehovah’s worship to expand,
May we serve our God as one
Until Jehovah says the work is done.

 Forward, You Ministers of the Kingdom! (2 Timothy 4:5)

1. Go forward in preaching the Kingdom
To people in ev’ry land.
With love in your hearts for your neighbor,
Help meek ones to take their stand.
Our service to God is a priv’lege;
His word we are glad to proclaim.
Go out in the field and keep preaching;
Give witness to God’s holy name. (Chorus)
2. True ministers keep pressing forward
With God’s prize of life in view.
We follow the steps of our Master
With hearts that have been made new.
The good news of God’s coming Kingdom
Is something that all need to hear.
We preach in the strength of Jehovah;
With him there is nothing to fear! (Chorus)
3. Together we press ever forward,
God’s remnant and other sheep.
The old and the young men and women
In step with the truth do keep.
Our service we hold to be sacred;
Our worship is never routine.
To God may we prove ever worthy
 By conduct that’s holy and clean. (CHORUS)
Forward, boldly preach the Kingdom message ever far and wide.
Forward, faithful, loyally remaining on Jehovah’s side.

 Tuesday Night Scriptures

Jesus said: "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am mild-tempered and lowly in heart, and you will find refreshment for your souls. For my yoke is kindly and my load is light." Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show out of his fine conduct his works with a mildness that belongs to wisdom. On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus impaled the flesh together with its passions and desires. Let your reasonableness become known to all men. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. Isaiah says: Look! A king will reign for righteousness itself; and as respects princes, they will rule as princes for justice itself. And each one must prove to be like a hiding place from the wind and a place of concealment from the rainstorm, like streams of water in a waterless country, like the shadow of a heavy crag in an exhausted land. Shepherd the flock of God in your care, not under compulsion, but willingly; neither for love of dishonest gain, but eagerly; neither as lording it over those who are God’s inheritance, but becoming examples to the flock. And when the chief shepherd has been made manifest, you will receive the unfadable crown of glory. Be obedient to those who are taking the lead among you and be submissive, for they are keeping watch over your souls as those who will render an account; that they may do this with joy and not with sighing, for this would be damaging to you. Amen.

Bible Reading:

2 Chronicles 15:8 And as soon as Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage and proceeded to cause the disgusting things to vanish from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities that he had captured from the mountainous region of Ephraim, and to renew Jehovah’s altar that was before the porch of Jehovah. 9 And he began to collect together all Judah and Benjamin and the alien residents with them from Ephraim and Manasseh and Simeon, for they had deserted to him from Israel in great number when they saw that Jehovah his God was with him. 10 So they were collected together at Jerusalem in the third month of the fifteenth year of Asa’s reign. 11 Then they sacrificed to Jehovah on that day from the spoil they had brought, seven hundred cattle and seven thousand sheep. 12 Furthermore, they entered into a covenant to search for Jehovah the God of their forefathers with all their heart and with all their soul; 13 that anyone that would not search for Jehovah the God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. 14 So they swore to Jehovah with a loud voice and with joyful shouting and with the trumpets and with horns. 15 And all Judah gave way to rejoicing over the thing sworn; for it was with all their heart that they had sworn and with full pleasure on their part that they had looked for him, so that he let himself be found by them; and Jehovah continued to give them rest all around.16 As for even Maacah his grandmother, Asa the king himself removed her from being lady, because she had made a horrible idol for the sacred pole; and then Asa cut down her horrible idol and pulverized it and burned it in the torrent valley of Kidron. 17 And the high places themselves did not disappear from Israel. Only Asa’s heart itself proved to be complete all his days. 18 And he proceeded to bring the things made holy by his father and the things made holy by himself into the house of the true God, silver and gold and utensils. 19 As for war, it did not occur down to the thirty-fifth year of Asa’s reign.

Bonus Scriptures:

Are Christians Supposed to Be Witnesses
for Jesus or Jehovah ?

‘That’s an interesting question. We do have a responsibility to be witnesses for Jesus. That’s why Jesus’ role in God’s purpose is emphasized in the publications. Here is something that may be a new thought to you. Of whom was Jesus “the Faithful Witness”? see Revelation chapter1. Jesus set the example that we should imitate, did he not? Jesus prayed to God: “I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have observed your word. Why is it so important to get to know both Jesus and his Father? This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ. (John 17:3) “You are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah. Isaiah 43:10.

 Love identifies the Christian congregation

Paul says: If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels but do not have love, I have become a sounding piece of brass or a clashing cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophesying and am acquainted with all the sacred secrets and all knowledge, and if I have all the faith so as to transplant mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my belongings to feed others, and if I hand over my body, that I may boast, but do not have love, I am not profited at all. Therefore, become imitators of God, as beloved children, and go on walking in love, just as the Christ also loved you and delivered himself up for you as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling odor. Love is long-suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Jesus said: By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.” Amen.

Bonus Scriptures:

Keep on, then, seeking first the kingdom and his righteousness. “You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created.” Quit being fashioned after this system of things, but be transformed by making your mind over, that you may prove to yourselves the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Do not become righteous overmuch, nor show yourself excessively wise. For there is no man righteous in the earth that keeps doing good and does not sin. Why do you judge your brother? Or why do you also look down on your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God. He that is pursuing righteousness and loving-kindness will find life, righteousness and glory. Amen.
